Beginning of a new adventure…
At the heart of Finnish Lapland, three friends—Shihab, Alex, and Aino—shared a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of Lapland and its never-ending wonders. Each brought their own passion to the group: Shihab had a profound love for the northern lights, capturing their ethereal beauty through his camera; Alex was a seasoned outdoorsman, full of stories and knowledge about the wilderness and its history; and Aino thrived on meeting new people, always eager to create unforgettable experiences.
One evening, as the stars twinkled above their cabin, Shihab turned to his friends with an idea that had been brewing in his mind. “I’ve been running my own northern lights tours for a while now,” he began, excitement lighting up his eyes. “But I think if we join forces, we can offer something truly special, something that gives more people the chance to witness this magic.”
Changing something is always an adventure, changing a job or a coffee brand, settings on the camera or perspective even in life. Change is constant and it can be scary but when big changes happen, it is good to have friends to support you and help to find new ideas. In our case, we were lucky to have each other to start something new and change our career paths towards something we feel more passionate about.
We are a group of friends who live in Rovaniemi, in the Arctic Circle. We are all from different backgrounds and have all worked in this tourism industry while wondering, could we create something different and more personal on our own! and here we go.......
We are excited to share our knowledge and stories with anyone who is up for going on a trip in the wilderness either to experience the northern lights or for a hike and explore the frozen forests while creating memories for all of us to remember. We are a company that wants to give you best chances to experience the magic of Lapland but before anything else, we are a group of friends enjoying our adventure together and hoping you would join us while we wonder Into North!
